There are no words to fully describe the honor and pride I feel designing my parents’ forever home on land my great grandparents purchased nearly a century ago. Every corner of this home carries history, legacy, and deep meaning. You can truly feel the calm presence of those who came before us, and there is something incredibly emotional about knowing generations of my family have walked this land.

What makes this home even more special is that my mother is the reason I fell in love with home design in the first place. Some of my earliest memories are tied to watching her create warmth, beauty, and comfort within a home. She taught me that a home should feel inviting, peaceful, and lived in with intention. Being able to design this home for my parents feels deeply full circle in a way I cannot fully put into words. She also gave me such thoughtful and clear direction throughout the selections process, and every decision we made together felt meaningful and deeply personal.

I had the privilege of helping shape every detail of this home from the architectural design to the furnishings and rugs. I especially loved taking the lead on the technical aspects and ensuring every space felt cohesive, timeless, and connected to the story of our family.

This home is far more than a project to me. It is family history, legacy, love, and memory woven into every space. Without hesitation, I can say this is my favorite project I have ever had the honor of creating.
